Greetings!
Hey, this is Dhruv. Just writing to say we know things look a bit bare right now, but give us some time and I’m sure you’ll like what you see.
Anyway, I suppose I ought to say a few words about what the plan is here…
Alex and I first came up with the idea for XPJ months ago. We were starting to see our XPFW careers going a bit south, and decided that we’d be a lot happier running our own group on our terms. That and we didn’t necessarily want to be bound to doing freeware work forever. Now, that’s not saying we won’t continue to do free projects. We most certainly will, but don’t be surprised if all of our work isn’t free…
Anyway, enough about the semantics, and back to what I actually do here at XPJ. Well, my forte’s really a lot of the grunt work - texturing, panels, and once in a while I’ll work on flight models. The one thing I have yet to go near is building the actual visual model of a plane; I leave that to our two very talented node-pushers, Alex and Reuben.
You could say that my stuff’s fairly important - hard to fly a plane without a cockpit isn’t it? I’m not one to hog the limelight, though, so I’m going to shove off and let the other guys say something as well; look for their posts immediately following mine.
Thanks for stopping by, and we’ll have a lot more for you soon!
